Californians moving to Nevada hope to re-create a California lifestyle — a tech hub with mountain views — without the Golden State’s problems. It’s not working exactly as planned. More and more people are leaving the Golden State to find to create the same lifestyle elsewhere without the Golden State “problems”, that come with the coastal lifestyle. This is causing some growing pains for the local Las Vegas community.
The area has become, congested and the locals are not happy about it. Not only have the Californians migrated to Las Vegas, so have the businesses, creating a hub. Do you recall a few years back when this happened in Colorado? When locals from other states moved into Colorado, and the roads, stores and areas became much busier? This causes an increase in the cost of car insurance, since there is more people on the road. Higher cost in food and supplies, due to supply and demand. Just an overall increase in everything. How did you feel about this influx of neighbor’s? Can you agree with Las Vegas locals being upset? Read more here!
